Giving the Basics

Some of the most basic everyday items can make a meaningful difference when they are available to someone who needs them.

On September 30, the New Dynamic team returned to Giving the Basics for another service project. Together, we packaged, labeled, and counted 18,250 hygiene items that will be distributed to help support children, adults, seniors, and families throughout the community.

Giving the Basics works to provide essential hygiene products such as shampoo, deodorant, laundry soap, toilet paper, and other personal care items that are often difficult for people in need to obtain. Its mission centers on improving health, hope, and dignity through access to these everyday necessities.

For our team, the morning was a chance to work together in a different setting and contribute directly to an organization doing important work in the Kansas City community. Thank you to Giving the Basics for welcoming us back and for the work you do every day. We are glad to play a small part in helping these essential items reach the people who need them.
